It runs so smooth (except when someone has a bad connection), there is never any glitches or bs like in some moto games, it will be the exact same every lap and if you hit someone chances are you both are going down. I am always in a server, sometimes with 3 people or 30 people. But most people just race in normal servers for fun, Its an actual motocross simulator.Īfter seeing your recent reply about the racing part of it, I never play this game alone. Some of the fastest guys in the world race in series where you pay but can win prizes from real life moto companies and money.

Also, like you asked, you can sign up for series and championships on some websites and race on servers, there is a ton of servers to race on for free whenever you want, which is what most people do. And no, dont play the demo because it is not at all how the game actually is after downloading abunch of tracks and mods. From the experiences, fun and time I have in that game, I would literally spend $200+ to buy this game again. If you put the time in, you will not regret it. Its like real life, some days you will suck and be slow, crash, and other days you will be in the flow and be hauling ass, there is no better feeling than railing ruts and just being in your own flow in that game.
This is by far the most rewarding and fun moto game ive ever played, there are plenty of people who have 5+ years in this game and still play daily, I have 2 years in and still play daily, sometimes for a race or sometimes for hours on end. Find a good setup online after getting a hang of the game and stick with it. Do not make the mistake i did and go back and forth thinking they work together, they dont. But it was so hard in the beginning because i was messing with the stability setting, not realizing once you change that, it totally erases the setup you just made, so in reality, you can put stablity on 0 and then make a setup, and it will run with that setup. It took me a solid two weeks to get around a track without falling every 20 seconds. The learning curve is hard, but once it clicks, it gets much easier. In reality, most people who don't like this game never downloaded good tracks, and the newest bikes/skins to get the most out of this game, or just didnt take the time to learn. But to this date no other game ive ever played do I enjoy as much as mx sim for racing, it only gets more fun as time goes on.

Then all of the things like when to shift, sit down and stand up, whip, or anything else will come naturally, I watched a ton of tutorials on youtube for how to do things when I started out 2 years ago and literally the only thing that was a game changer was my bike setup, other than that its just seat time.
The biggest piece of advice for this game is just practice, simple as that.

But one debatable thing is the stock tracks, they have absolutely no traction and can be really frustrating to learn on, it does help with learning throttle control but I almost couldn't recommend the stock tracks to start out with, I think they should update the texture files on those tracks because no custom tracks have that little of traction. Some beginner sx tracks though are a blast, like DelbSX.
The thing is with mx sim you need to do research and experiment a ton before you find a setup that works and you can learn with, I'm a pretty fast rider for outdoor tracks but still cant play sx consistently to this day, personally i don't find it that fun (prolly because im not good at it) and its just a whole other thing to learn in that game, hard as hell.
